Deafness

Q. Will my my hearing impairment or deafness affect my polygraph examination?

A. Depending on the examinee’s degree of impairment, there can be adjustments to the polygraph procedures. For example, examinations can be conduced using an American Sign Language interpreter. Sometimes the examination is conducted in writing, where the test questions are presented on index cards or projected on a screen in front of the examinee.
